Harlow won the toss and elected to bat against Harold Wood. Harlow got off to a steady start with openers Hafiz scoring 51 and A Jones scoring 70, this continued with captain R Ahmed scoring 32 and A Khawaja getting a 50 not out. A couple of late wickets fell and Harlow moved onto 250 scored from they allotted 50 Overs for lose of 5 wickets. Harold Wood came out knowing that a win would lift them nicely clear of Harlow and set about the task. Scoring at almost a run an over quicker than Harlow, Harold Wood chased down the required score in 39.5 overs with the loss of just 3 wickets. Mitch Howarde picked up two wickets for figures of 48/2.
The defeat leave Harlow without a victory in five matches now and are in the relegation zone. They face a tough match next away to Buckhurst Hill who are unbeaten in five albeit with two abandoned games.
