For those who new him

News came out that Harlow Town CC lost a stalwart of their club and a huge fan of all sports who contributed to a lot across Harlow over the years and in the area of Old Harlow where he lived.

He passed away peacefully on Sunday 8th September 2019 after a short illness.

Martin was born in Old Harlow and remained in the vicinity for his entire life. A keen sportsman, he played for a number of teams including Harlow Town Football Club, Harlow Town and Harlow Cricket Clubs and latterly enjoyed playing bowls at Tye Green Bowls Club.

The family invite you to celebrate his life on Friday 20th September at 3:15 pm at Harlow Crematorium and then onto Harlow Town Cricket Club afterwards.

Family flowers only. It would have been Martin’s wish that rather than flowers at his funeral, donations were made to Harlow Town Cricket Club to go towards the purchase of a digital scoreboard in his memory.

If you wish to donate please visit www.drobinson.co.uk and follow the “In Memory” page to find Martin.
