Covid 19 Dependent

Dear Parents I hope you are well.

My name is Luke Heskett and I have recently been appointed as the new head coach at Harlow CC. I am an experienced ECB advanced level 3 coach and an ex first team captain at the club. Coaching is my passion and I will combining my role with my existing role as Head Coach of Hertfordshire ladies. I look forward to providing a positive enjoyable coaching experience to the club members.

In my new role as Harlow CC Head Coach I’m hoping to run the following coaching days at Marigolds in the Easter Holidays

These days will of course be dependent on Covid Restrictions and the weather.

Tuesday 6th April: School year 1-school year 6

Children will given the chance to practice their batting, bowling and fielding through a series of fun games and challenges. Fun and enjoyment will be at the forefront of the day and hopefully will give the children a much needed boost and the chance to play with friends in a controlled environment.

The day will have a soft ball focus but hard ball opportunities in the nets will be available to children with hard ball experience and the necessary protective agreement (bat, helmet, pads, thigh pads, box and gloves). It is unlikely we will be able to allow the sharing of equipment due to Covid regulations

All children taking part will receive a certificate of participation and some prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.

Thursday 8th April school year 7 - school year 13

A Hard ball skills based day with opportunities to practice batting, bowling and fielding through a series of drills and fun challenges. The bowling machines will be in operation to allow for some quality batting practice.

There may be an opportunity for some middle practice depending on whether the weather conditions in the lead up to the day have allowed Cliff to get the square ready

This is a great opportunity to get some much needed practice in and to hopefully blow of some cobwebs, have fun and socialise with friends.

All participants should have some hard ball experience and there own protective equipment (bat, helmet, pads, thigh pads, box and gloves). We will most likely not be able to allow children to share equipment due to Covid regulations.

Both days are open to all not just exclusive to Harlow CC members so please share with any friends that you feel may be interested.

Both days will run 10am-4pm and the cost will be £25 (sibling discounts available on request)

If the day is cancelled full refunds can be offered or a £30 credit note will be given to use towards a one to one coaching session or towards a future holiday camp in May half term or the Summer holidays

All participants will receive a £5 voucher to put towards the cost of one to coaching session with myself or for any coaching days/camps I will run during May Half Term and the summer holidays
