Harlow CC groundsman for over 40 years, Cliff Clark (right) has been nominated for The Cricket World Groundsman of the Year. He was interviewed by the inspection panel last week whilst they inspected the ground at Marigolds. They were hugely impressed with Cliff's work and the club and he has been invited to attend Lords at the end of September with club president Alan Howick.

The nomination comes after Harlow CC scored highly in all categories in the Essex Senior League umpire and opposition captain marks. The pitch, ground, club and hospitality including catering all scored highly and we are amongst the top ranked clubs in the county.

Cliff, seen pictured with scoreboard side partner in crime, Bill, works tirelessly on the ground and has been a key member of the club for decades consistently producing excellent wickets and practice facilities.
