Festival Cricket to be played at Harlow CC in August

Three very unique cricket clubs Visit Harlow and all on the same day

Harlow Cricket Club will entertaining some serious ‘Club cricketers’ on Thursday the 1st August when The Club Cricket Conference (CCC) will present their annual fixture against the historic Cricket Club being the MCC, played for the very first time at Marigolds, the clubs delightful and picturesque cricket ground tucked away in the old town.

Both teams are expected to select strong, talented amateur cricketers with personal points to prove so everything seems lined up for a good day of quality cricket.

The game will be played over fifty overs each and play is due to start at 11.00.

On Harlow Cricket Clubs second ground, also located alongside their new club house, the Harlow U11’s Select XI are playing an international match against
The California Cricket Academy U11’s who are on tour here in the UK. That game is over thirty overs each and play commences at 12 noon.

So, a very busy day at Marigolds for Harlow Cricket Club. The day is being hosted by the Harlow CC Vice Presidents Club who are also entertaining forty
guests for lunch whilst the cricket is being played.

Everyone is welcome, the club bar will be open all day and there is plenty of room for all and the club encourages picnickers as well to attend.
