The club have launched a new vice presidents club under the chairmanship of
life member Simon Baulcomb and their very first event was ‘The Spring Supper’
held in the new club house at the end of March and was attended by 116
friends of the club and were royally entertained by former England Cricket
Captain and past President of the MCC, Mike Gatting OBE who spent a good
hour or more telling amusing stories of his career as an international and test
match cricketer.

Amongst those attending included the club President and two past presidents,
three former first eleven captains, a number of Life Members, numerous past
players and many new and old friends of the club.

It is planned to hold a summer luncheon this season and other events of which
due notice will be given.

VP Membership is open to all, just make a donation to the Harlow CC VP Club
and you will receive a uniquely designed tie and something similar for lady
members.
